About the Role

As a Plant/Quarry Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of heavy machinery while contributing to the safe and efficient running of quarry operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mobile plant including loaders, water carts, excavators, and dump trucks
• Monitor equipment performance and report faults or maintenance requirements
• Conduct pre-start checks and routine inspections
• Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Work safely and adhere to all site safety procedures and regulations
• Assist with general quarry operations as required
• Maintain production targets while ensuring quality standards are met

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience operating heavy machinery within a quarry, mining, construction, or industrial environment
• Demonstrated experience operating loaders, excavators, dump trucks, water carts, or similar equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable work ethic and strong communication skills
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
